Welcome to the AstroPontiac web site!
AstroPontiac (Observatoire Pontiac) is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to bringing the National Capital region its first public observatory and astronomy park – a place where discovery, inspiration and imagination can come together under the glow of the Milky Way.
Our night time viewing events provide a chance to see and learn about our solar system, the stars and distant galaxies. We also bring together individuals and local organizations interested in astronomy and space exploration.
Since hosting our first major public event in October 2013, AstroPontiac’s activities have drawn together more than 1,100 people to share some of the wonders of the universe.
